the movie rocked,i loved the slowness and innocence of it (its not to often we see platonic love stories) especially ones about boys who look like girls/feminine.. and they say the book is alot more detailed as well, im sure its a good read

Right. I wouldn't doubt that Eli was a boy, but vampires by legend are beautiful and androgynous. they did a great job with the movie and I can't wait to read the book.
